Following the Sentiero da Laje [Ranhados] route, you can admire a section of a Roman road, in excellent condition, as well as other fragments still existing in the village. This road was part of a Roman road network that crossed Viseu, dating back to the 1st century, during the reign of Emperor Claudius.
