cm-viseu.pt/pt The Town Hall - Paços do Município de Viseu One thing you can't miss on Rossio is the Paços do Concelho building, built in 1887 and which has had a significant influence on the city's aesthetics over time. The building, with sober lines and white walls, as well as stone-framed doors and windows, rises almost majestically. Inside you can admire a wrought iron chandelier by Arnaldo Malho, a wooden work by Mestre António Loureiro in the Salão Nobre, multi-coloured tile paintings along the stairs and the ceiling painting by the Viseu-born painter José de Almeida e Silva.
