If you come from Bergen or Bischofsheim, there is a "Blickachse" on the Große Loh, which is part of the regional park route on the Hohe Straße. Situated directly on the edge of the forest, where the districts of Niederdorfelden, Maintal and Frankfurt touch each other, a double row of steles directs the view to the northwest on the Taunus and southeast into the Main valley.

Große Loh
Protected at the edge of the forest, double rows of steles direct the view towards the Taunus and the Main.
They mark the Hohe Straße and indicate its connection with the regional park routes in the Vordertaunus and the Mainuferweg.

Breaks are worthwhile at the many beautiful spots along the route.
