Groß Umstadt-Reinheimer Teiche-Dieburg Biergarten im Schlosspark
Mein Ziel war heute der Augustiner Biergarten im Schlosspark in Dieburg. In Dieburg war ich schon oft, aber noch nie in diesem Biergarten. Ein kühles Blondes im vorgekühlten Tonkrug musste es dann auch sein. Mir hat es dort sehr gut gefallen und ich werde mal wieder reinschauen.

My short hike took me through the Hessigheimer Felsengärten. You have a wonderful view of the vineyards and the Neckar from up there.
This region is ideally suited for hiking and cycling. Besigheim is my favorite in this area. A beautiful small wine-growing town with very beautiful half-timbered buildings

Today we visited one of my "favorite places", the marketplace of Groß-Umstadt. At the Altstadt Cafe we enjoyed draft beer and a pizza. In the small ice cream parlor on the marketplace, we then had an espresso and a portion of ice cream. I can only recommend both establishments. It is always nice to be there.

From Molsheim we followed the Canal de la Bruche to Strasbourg. A great shady cycle path. The cycle paths in Alsace were very easy to ride, as were numerous French people on racing bikes. This time our beds were at the Hôtel de la Couronne in Riquewihr, the oldest hotel in France. Colmar, very beautiful but overcrowded with tourists. Usual in Alsace were €8 for 0.5 liters of draft beer. Food also expensive.
