Tips
The Riegsee is about two kilometers northeast of Murnau and is one of the warmest bathing lakes in Bavaria. It has no natural inlet or outlet and has a mostly constant water level. The east side of the shore is largely private or occupied by a campsite near the village of Riegsee. At the level of the village of Aidling there is a beautiful and well-kept bathing area that is open to the general public.
