Murnauer Moos Cycle Path

The path leads through the Murnauer Moos, one of the largest contiguous moorland areas in Central Europe. The moorland provides a habitat for some rare plant and animal species such as the grey shrike, the corncrake or the adder, as well as the carnivorous sundew, the Siberian iris, the bug-orchid or the Charlemagne's sceptre. Here, large areas of litter meadows, low and transitional moors, spring funnels, backwaters and residual lakes combine with fully developed raised bogs to form a complex habitat and a great place for cycling tours. Of course, only on the paths provided for this purpose!

With this backdrop, it practically drives itself. The path is not just for cyclists! When the weather is nice, you cannot fully enjoy the scenery.
