"Built in 1605 by Count Christoph von Gemmingen. The coat of arms with the year is still visible today. - From 1760 to 1919, the Eyermann family owned the mill. Johannes Kreutz married Katharina Eyermann. The Kreutz family [hence also known as "Kreutz Mill"] still lives on the property today. - The mill ceased operation in 1935 due to the decline of mills."
