The sculpture depicts two dancing figures in typical traditional clothing of the Arrecife folklore and carnival group the 'Buches'. The work was created by the Lanzarote sculptor Evelina Martín, daughter of Nicolás Martín Placeres, one of the oldest members of 'Los Buches'.
It is 1.75 meters high and was made in the artist's bronzo workshop. The initiative for this came from the sculptor herself, who presented the idea to the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
