September 7, 2019
The Nordpark in Dusseldorf is a public green area in the district Stockum. It was planned in 1936 for the Reich Exhibition Schaffendes Volk, a propaganda exhibition by the National Socialists, and opened in 1937. The main entrance is on the Kaiserswerther Straße, another entrance on the Rhine side on the Rotterdamer Straße.The park is 36.6 ha in size. Water features, lawns, trees, variously planted sections, borders and a Japanese garden are all parts of a diverse design. There are tables and chairs in the park that visitors can change and use as needed. WIKIPEDIA
