Driving down the Danube, it is advisable to decide here whether you want to drive over the power plant or take the ferry (approx. 3.50 / p and bike) to Ottensheim a few kilometers later. In any case, you should switch to the north side at the latest from the ferry.

On the south side you drive into Linz without a bike lane on a busy, rather narrow main road. You miss the beautiful Rococo Wilhering Abbey.
