Hiking
Due to its location in the heart of the Palatinate Forest, Erfenstein has three former forester's lodges (Schankentalstr. 1, Spangenbergstr. 9 and 15), which are now used as residences. The listed building at Schankentalstr. 1, on the corner of Talstraße, was built in 1857 and 1858 by the Wolf family, then forest owners from Wachenheim, as a hunting lodge in the late Classical style.
