The oldest half-timbered church in Hesse (built around 1440 on the site of an older building, probably from the 13th century).
Since 1375, the city hospital (sick, poor and old people's home) has been located near St. Wendelin, which consisted of several buildings.
The restored chapel, which was rededicated in 1987, contains, among other things, the valuable Wendelin shrine (painted or carved around 1510).
The attached building includes work rooms of several clubs (with the Tepler Hochland (Tepl, the Sudeten German godfather town of Butzbach) worth seeing).

A rather inconspicuous little church with enormous historical significance. It was restored at great expense between 1979 and 1987.
