The Beetz-Sommerfeld station consists of a reception building, goods shed, outbuildings, forecourt and access road. The breakpoint Beetz-Sommerfeld was created in 1898/99 on the railway line Kremmen-Meyenburg. Today, the RE 6 operates here on the route between Berlin-Gesundbrunnen and Wittenberge.
