Hiking Highlight
The Beetzer Church in its current form was built in 1704. The first evidence of an earlier church at this point comes from 1491. Here we come across a neat, small half-timbered church, as can be found in this region in some places. Most of the horizontal trusses were plastered. The now visible vertical bars create an aspiring impression that makes the church appear higher. The simple, single-nave church building has a polygonal choir. The sacristy is located there in a small annex behind the altar.Source: kirche-kremmen.de/seite/184596/kirche.html
