Hiking

The Steinbachtal is located in the Buchholz city forest, which is also referred to by the residents as 'The Mountains'. Wild pigs have been coming down to the valley for a number of years, losing their fear of humans because of their proximity to the houses. It's best not to approach the pigs or feed them, as they continue to be unpredictable as wild animals.
