Between the "Brunsberg" nature reserve and the Sprötzer Heide, the conditions for the development of a natural forest, the "Sprötzer Fuhren", have already been created on an area of around 35 hectares in recent years.

Characteristic features of a natural forest are large contiguous forest areas from which no timber is removed and forestry use is prohibited. Our areas also combine nature conservation measures with environmental education and local recreation.
