From farm to restaurant...

The history of the Ahrenshof goes back to the early Middle Ages. It once belonged to the castle of the Junker von Kayhausen. When this fell into disrepair at the end of the 12th century, only the farm remained. In 1696, Brun Ahrens from Zwischenahn bought the farm. After the family had run the farm for generations, it was converted into a restaurant in 1969.

In 2021 we took over the location and modernized it. It was important to us to bring the modern spirit of the times into harmony with the charm and history of the Ahrenshof. We wish you a pleasant stay. Let us pamper you.
