The fun idea didn't leave us alone. It was considered, thought through, calculated, and many visits to the authorities were undertaken. In 1973 the time had come: we finally ordered an excavator. In-house work, piles were then driven, the access road expanded and an administrative concept drawn up. "200 berths - can we get that many !?". All places were taken in the first season in 1974; in the following decades we even had to set up a waiting list for interested parties.
As early as 1972 - as it should be with a small group - an association was founded: The Yacht-Club Bad Zwischenahn e. V. (ycz.de) has its base in the Bünting marina to this day; organizes events, offers sailing training, etc.
Bünting marina
At the beginning of the eighties we decided to expand a second harbor basin with another 110 berths.
Today we can offer around 400 places on water and on land. From small laser dinghies to 505s, catamarans and trains

For forty years, the Bünting marina has been a port managed by a private operator in Bad Zwischenahn. Located on a peninsula surrounded by tall poplars, this port can accommodate more than 400 boats of various types, such as sailboats and catamarans. In the beginning, the harbor was just a small jetty, which was expanded by a group of friends who then founded the Yacht-Club Bad Zwischenahn e.V. Nowadays there are two basins in the port with a total of 400 berths both on land and in the water.
