The first known owners of this property were members of the extensive aristocratic family von Krickenbeck. After the destruction in the Thirty Years War, the owners of Kamphausen had to build a new manor house, which still exists today. The two-story building is dated to 1634 by wall anchors.

The Weyer Fort is a former manor in the Nettetaler district Breyell on the Lower Rhine. The fort was built as a water-resistant three-wing complex, its first historical mention is dated in 1311.
