The "Outdoor Thermometer" by artist Michael Sailstorfer (born 1979), selected for the exhibition, is located between the fifth and sixth floors at the front of the stairwell. It is a functional, illuminated circular thermometer made of aluminum sheet with a red needle. The only difference between this work of art and its commercial counterpart is its Pop Art-inspired size of approximately three and a half meters in diameter.
