In the middle of the Eifel National Park is the 100-hectare complex of the former Nazi Ordensburg Vogelsang. After the Second World War it was first a British and then a Belgian military training area.

Under the mission statement “Vogelsang IP | Since opening in 2006, the International Square has developed into a multi-layered, internationally oriented exhibition, cultural and educational center, an extracurricular learning location and an exceptional event and conference location.

The Forum Vogelsang IP is the visitor and exhibition center. The centerpieces are the two exhibitions Nazi documentation “Determination: Master Man. NS-Ordensburgen between fascination and crime” and the adventure exhibition “Wildnis(t)räume” at the Eifel National Park Center.
In addition, the new Forum Vogelsang IP offers a seminar and conference center, a restaurant with an extraordinary view of the landscape and a viewing platform on the 48 meter high historic tower. Climbing the tower is possible as part of a guided tour.
The Vogelsang IP cultural cinema, which dates back to the 1950s and is located next to the forum, was put into operation in 2012.
