The Freilichtbühne is a round theater/amphitheater in the immediate vicinity of the Stadtparkcafé in the Stadtpark. The open stone stairs give the audience a good view of the stage, which is located in the lower area. Behind the stage is the swan pond, which can be easily overlooked from the seats. The owner of the open-air stage is the city of Fürth, which rents out the stage every year by means of a lease agreement. The current tenant (as of 2021) is the adjacent Stadtparkcafé.
