Highest tower in the northern Black Forest with an excellent all-round view. On a clear day you can even see Speyer Cathedral - almost 60 kilometers as the crow flies. Incidentally, the tower is identical in construction to the Teltschikturm in the Odenwald.

The viewing tower was built in 2002 from larch wood and steel. It serves to commemorate the hurricane Lothar (December 26, 1999), which caused devastating damage to the forest at this point.
The tower with its 192 steps is open all year round and admission is free.

Lookout tower from 2002, which was built to commemorate Hurricane Lothar. With its 192 steps and 40 m height, it offers a great view. Unfortunately it was closed during the Corona period. The tower is freely accessible and there is no entry fee. There is also a bench at the base of the tower.
