On the Friedrichfelsen there is a climbing tour that is one of the classics in the Palatinate. The "Fotoface" line, first started by Michael Schindler, runs through the striking roof of the "Luger Friedrich", as the rock is also called. Climbers can expect a real surprise when they exit the roof - taking photos of their faces while they are trying to negotiate the edge of the roof is the highlight for their climbing partners.
But even non-climbers can watch the vertical athletes practically at eye level as they go about their activities from the rock next door.
