Tips
Red clinker is typical for the north and gives the promenade its own flair. There is something for everyone here, from ice cream and cake to fish sandwiches. The aquarium is at the end of the promenade and is well worth a visit. When the tide is high, you can go straight into the water from the promenade. Due to the southern orientation you have sunshine all day long. Those who prefer shade can rent one of the beach chairs.
