In the Steinbach district of Odenwald in Michelstadt, a shelter at the edge of the forest burned down on Sunday night.
The fire department was still clearing embers in the morning. Investigators found drinks bottles and a jacket on site. They suspect that the hut was used for celebrations or barbecues and assume that the arson was intentional or negligent.
