The desert church of St. Nicholas under the Krudum (Czech: Kostel sv. Mikuláše pod Krudumem) is a legendary former religious building in the Imperial Forest, Czech Republic. The church, which probably disappeared in the 16th century, could not be located for 500 years; its remains were only rediscovered in 2002.
Nothing is known about the origins of the church. Since she is the saint. Nicholas as the patron saint of merchants and was located on an old trade route from Eger via Königsberg, Schlaggenwald, Petschau and Luditz to Prague, suggests that it was built as a wayside church.
