Please check local regulations for: Naturpark Südschwarzwald
Location: Feldberg, Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, Hochschwarzwald, Freiburg District, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
The Feldberg may not be the most beautiful, but at 1,493 meters it is the highest mountain in the Black Forest and should therefore not be missing on any Black Forest tour. A narrow path leads to the summit, which is steep but still easy to drive.
Once you reach the top, you will be enchanted by the unique 360-degree panorama. In the west you can see beyond the Rhine plain to the Vosges, while in the northeast you can see the entire Swabian Alb.
If you want to push a short distance - trails are taboo for cyclists here for nature conservation reasons - you can make the descent via the beautifully located St. Wilhelmer Hütte.
