Tips

  • The Hardausee is a dam north of Hösseringen in Suderburger Land. The dam was built in 1971 and dams the Hardau, which ensures an intensive exchange of water and thus also for cool water of good quality in the storage space. Purpose and use are exclusively recreational uses such as fishing, swimming and in winter also ice sports. With a sandy beach and a kiosk, the reservoir attracts many visitors every year. West of the Hardausees is a campsite. The kiosk has different opening times depending on the season. As far as I know, closed from the end of October and only opens again for the bathing season.
