From the Hangelstein hut on the former railway line Nistertal, Bad Marienberg, Großseifen to Fehl-Ritzhausen you have a wonderful view over the Nistertal to Hahn near Bad Marienberg, Hardt and the heights of Alpenrod with the windmills.

Today, on April 10, 2020, Good Friday, this hut is no longer here. It was demolished last year. At the place where this hut stood, nothing, absolutely nothing, reminds us of the "Hangelstein Hut" of the Westerwaldverein Bad Marienberg e.V.! What a pity, really.
What remains, however, is the still wonderful view of the Nister valley with the Bad Marienberg district of Langenbach, but also the view of the independent local communities of Hahn near Bad Marienberg and Hardt.
