Together with the more famous Eschbacher Klippen, the Saienstein is one of the most striking geotopes in the north of the Hochtaunus district. Both are also part of the same quartz formation. The Saienstein formation, surrounded by forest, is much less crowded and therefore offers a more atmospheric ambience.

The Saienstein is part of the same 6 km long quartz vein, which includes, among other things, the well-known Eschbacher cliffs about 1 km east of here.
He is little known, as he can only be reached via an inconspicuous beaten path and is not signposted and also hears the name "Kaiser-Friedrich-Felsen". With a bit of luck you can have a picnic all by yourself (with your hiking partner (s)).
