Havelhöhenweg

Great and quiet hiking trail - the most beautiful in the Berlin city area. The fewer leaves on the trees, the more you can see of the Havel.

The Havelhöhenweg leads along the steep banks of the Havel and runs from the Heerstraße in the north to the Wannsee lido in the south. It is around 10 kilometers long, takes you to numerous excursion destinations and runs largely above the Havel Uferweg on the western edge of the Teltow Plateau. At various points, however, it also leads down to the shore path. Very beautiful and varied path.

Very nice hiking trail between Berlin and Potsdam along the banks of the Havel, mostly a little offset from the lake shore on a hill. This gives you a very nice view of the Havel. The senate administration has set up benches in very attractive places.

The Höhenweg ends at the Strandbad Wannsee, but there are also some quiet and small bathing spots in between, such as at Lieper Bay. But it shouldn't get too hot anyway, because you usually walk in the shady forest.

If you want to stop right in the middle, you can do so at the beer garden in Grunewald.

A really wonderful and varied hiking trail high above the banks of the Havel. In summer, when the trees are densely leafy, you rarely have a clear view over the river.

Up and down in shady surroundings. The view of the Havel is only limited by the dense foliage possible.

Just great, this way. In the middle of a city of millions a beautiful, very long forest path through hilly terrain

Between Lieper Bay and Strandbad Wannsee for me the most beautiful hiking trail in the Berlin city area.

The view of the Havel from here is incredibly beautiful.

beautiful views from the Grunewald on the Havel

Super nice, especially in autumn and winter, when you have a clear view of the Havel. However, there is a lot of up and down - you need a bit of physical fitness and good shoes! Since there are many beautiful viewpoints with benches, it is very good to have a picnic.

A "classic" among Berlin's hiking trails. Always an experience.

Along the Havelhöhenwanderweg you always come across small "beach sections" that are pretty empty compared to Berlin's lakes. Here you can have a nice picnic and cool off your feet (or completely) :)
