Hiking Highlight (Segment)
Very nice hiking trail between Berlin and Potsdam along the Havelufer, usually a bit offset from the lake on a hill. This gives you a very nice view of the Havel. In very beautiful places, the Senate has set up benches.
The trail ends at the beach Wannsee, but also in between, there are some quiet and small swimming spots, such as at the Lieper Bay. But it should not get too hot anyway, because you usually walk in the shady forest.
The Havelhöhenweg is part of the 20 green main routes of Berlin and was planned 100 years ago. A virtual tour can be found here: stadtentwicklung.berlin.de/forsten/waldspaziergang
If you want to stop in the middle, you can do it at the beer garden on Grunewald.

The Havelhöhenweg leads along the steep banks of the Havel, from the Heerstraße in the north to the Strandbad Wannsee in the south.
Its length is about 10 kilometers and leads past numerous destinations. The trail runs largely above the Havel Uferweg on the western edge of the Teltow Plateau. The slope to the Havel lowlands is at the maximum (above the Stößensee) at about 35 meters. To cross former meltwater channels, the trail leads down to the shore path at various points.
