Hiking

You can see the wall and moat system of this early medieval "castle" (probably from the 9th century) very well on the hike. This refuge probably did not have stone buildings in the usual sense, but ramparts and moats and served as a refuge. In the south, the Krimmelburg was safe due to the steep mountain slope. Due to the exposed location, you have a very nice view of the Reitlingstal. We paused on the hike with this beautiful view.
