The large, slender stone monument is decorated with a relief of a dragon, on the upper end of which sits a Prussian eagle standing on a globe.
The following inscription is on the front of the large base:
THE 3RD SILESIAN DRAGOON REGIMENT No. 15 TO ITS COMRADES WHO FELL IN CHINA, SOUTH WEST AFRICA AND IN THE WORLD WARS IN 1870-71
The following inscription is on the front of the base: ERECTED IN 1928
The monument is located on the edge of the Markbach - Jagdhäuser forest and was created in 1928 for the fallen members of the Dragoon Regiment No. 15. The 3rd Silesian Dragoon Regiment No. 15 was a cavalry unit in the Prussian army.
