To get to the castle (without using the steps ahead), go to other end of the street past all the pubs and turn left and up the iconic colourful Victoria Street. Turn left at the top of the street on the busy main road and then left again and follow road all the way to the castle. The roads are cobbled but if you’ve never been it’s worth it.
