The Red Pool is a small pass between Baden Baden and Forbach. The pass is probably called this because rain on the red sandstone, which makes up a large part of the subsurface of the area, colors the water in the puddles (laughter) reddish. From up here you have a very nice view of the surrounding area. At the top of the pass there is a restaurant where you can refresh yourself after the driveway to the top of the pass.
