Nice little chapel. Unfortunately not open. The building served as a model for the pumping station at the old Dombach paper factory.

The small half-timbered chapel was built in an open field in 1684. At that time, the plague was widespread, even in the Bergisches Land. This explains the patronage, according to which the chapel was dedicated to Saint Roch, who, along with Saint Sebastian, is popularly considered the "plague saint." His statue stands in front of the small altar in the apse. A characteristic feature of the depiction of Saint Roch is that he is pointing to a plague boil on his leg.

Nice little chapel with benches around it, perfect place to rest after the ascent of Oberlerbach along the Cologne path.
