Monte Piana offers a particularly impressive view of the Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo) – not head-on, as from other vantage points, but from the side, making the perspective very charming and unique. The line of sight allows you to clearly see the differences in elevation between the Great Cime, Middle Cime, and Small Cime, something often lost when viewed head-on.

To admire a side view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the most suggestive and unique perspectives are not the classic frontal ones. One of the two best observation points is Monte Piana: It offers an exceptional and unusual perspective. Instead of seeing them frontally, you will be able to observe the imposing walls from a completely different angle.
