In the east you can see the striking Großer Zschirnstein, the Rosenberg, the Winterberg and the Schrammsteine. To the north-east is the fortress Königstein and the Lilienstein, in the north the Cottaer Spitzberg, in the south-west the elongated Eastern Ore Mountains and in the south the Augustusberg with the mountain hotel.
