Mrs. Peters and Mr. Hagen are two of the charming Lechner figures that have enriched the townscape of Petershagen since 2002. Created by Witten artist Christel Lechner, they embody "everyday people in everyday life" and blend seamlessly into the cityscape.

Mrs. Peters, dressed in her Sunday best, is on her way to church and is standing in front of the town hall. Mr. Hagen, on the other hand, sits relaxed by the fountain in suspenders and a sailor's cap, enjoying his evening off.
