The Hirschsprung is a steep rocky outcrop on the right slope of the Hell Valley, below the viewpoint of King David.
On the diabase tower there is a deer about to jump.
According to legend, a stag was chased during a margrave's hunt in 1756 and jumped from the ledge.
The deer jump high above the Höllental offers a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding area. It can be reached on foot via various hiking trails.

At this vantage point you have a good view of the Hirschsprung. The "Hirschsprung" is a steep rock ledge on the right slope of the Hell Valley, below the viewpoint "King David".
