Pantokrator Castle was built in 1807 by Ali Pasha and is located in the coastal settlement of the same name, two kilometers southwest of Preveza and 400 meters from the exit of the Preveza-Aktion underwater tunnel. Its original name was Oud-Kale (Outer Acropolis), while its current name is said to derive from the Pantokrator Church that stood there before its construction.

Inside the castle, in the eastern part of the south wing, is a small church dedicated to Saint Anargyroi. The castle was later used by the Greek government as a prison for prisoners. Various events take place here during the summer months.
