    Simply drive to the toll station (the last 500 m on the motorway!) and a friendly employee will wave at you and load your bike into/onto a car. Transport through the tunnel is free of charge.

        You cannot go through the tunnel as a pedestrian or bicyclist. In April we had the following options: hitchhike to see if someone wants to take you and your bike through tunnel, wait for a bus (no timetable, and not all bus drivers allow bikes), take a taxi (this is what we did, 2 people, 2 bikes, eur 25), maybe get a lift of a boat at the nearby port, take a detour of 180 km. We read that there has been some kind of shuttle service, but not in April 2022. Do not know if that is because of Corona, low season, or that this service has been stopped.
