Hiking

The Cologne Zoo Bridge spans the Rhine and is part of the B 55a highway, connecting Cologne-Deutz/Mülheim (on the right bank) with Cologne-Riehl/Nippes (on the left bank). The bridge offers three lanes for car traffic in each direction, one cycle path, and one pedestrian walkway. It is 597 meters long, 33 meters wide, and was built between 1962 and 1966.

As an alternative for pedestrians, Cologne offers a cable car.
