Great view of the Rhine from a rest bench and a relaxation lounger.
Eponym could have been an owner of the parcel named Bock in the 16th century.

        Bocksberg brings together hiking trails

The origin of the name Bocksberg is not entirely clear. Presumably it goes back to a Hirzenacher Weistum from 1585 to an Oberhirzenach lay judge named Bock, who was possibly the owner of this parcel. At this point, the Rhein-Burgen-Weg and the Traumschleife Rheingold meet again and use the path together in the direction of the Ginsterstück. A breathtaking view reveals the towns of Kestert and Hirzenach as well as the Rheininsel Ehrenthaler Werth in the south, half of which belongs to Holzfeld and thus to the town of Boppard.
