Mountain biking

It's simply gorgeous here, especially when the heather is in bloom. The view is phenomenal: blooming heather and the buzzing of bees everywhere. It's hard to believe this was once a military training area.

Mountain biking

What a view, the blooming Fischbek Heath with all the buzzing bees—it's hard to believe this was once a military training area. Not far from here, the Panzer Ring Road begins and leads into Hamburg, and in the other direction, you can reach the Harburg Hills, Kiekeberg, or the Schwarze Berge Wildlife Park.

Gravel riding

The Fischbeker Heide is a great area for cycling! I like riding my gravel bike here. If you want to go to the Harburger Berge, it's best to go through here. The Fischbeker Heide is also regularly and rightly included in the Orbits, which are south of Hamburg. But: Be careful and watch out for pedestrians.
