Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)
Not all the answers here refer to the Psnzertrail, but also simply to the entire area there and to the Panzerring Straße. The latter is a concrete slab road SIDE/near the trail. It is also not passable for beginners, only partially. There are some spots with eroded sand steps including stone and roots. A steeper section has very prominent roots. Easily doable with technique, but beginners should be careful.

... the opinions seem to diverge here. I like this section. The challenge is to drive the whole distance without descending at high speed. Currently (as of summer 2015) there is relatively much loose sand on the route, which does not make it any easier; -)

Single trail through the heath always along the glider airfield. Mostly flowy, but sometimes a bit technical, it goes up and down over sand, gravel, small roots (sometimes a bit demanding, but never annoying). The trail bifurcates just before the north end of the airfield. On the right, the flow continues, on the left one bumps down a bit rough over a root carpet. Taking out the pace is not an option, however, if you want to get back up on the other side where both lines merge again. Here is a bench where you can watch the goings-on of the glider pilots, before turning left to the last, really fast-paced part. At the end there was a kicker between birch trees, of which there is unfortunately not much left at the moment (status: 11.01.20). The ravages of time? Or that of the chainrings?

It's really fun! Nice view of the Fischbeker Heide with its dunes and plants. Technically it is not that difficult, but it is really fun😀
The soil consists of gravel, sand and roots, but is still good and fun to drive! It goes up and down again and again and you can always take the momentum of the last descent with you for the next ascent! Definitely worth it!

The rooty, steep ascent approach the best in the middle otherwise you can quickly get stuck to roots.

You can not do it, you do not have to. Do not find him very spectacular or grandiose

The Panzerringstrasse is very easy to drive on on foot and by bike, no cars but lots of nature to the left and right

Very nice, flow-ige (what a word) descent with a short climb in between. Just let it roll and push through the curves, if you want fun you can also do mini jumps, but you don't have to!

Keep to the left on the trail ... On the right, after a crest, there is an edge on the right. There is a 50cm deep step that ends up in the sand

Drive from north to south, then you can do it with a bit of speed, even without dismounting
