The corner building Lange Str. 2 presents itself as a building piece of jewelery on the market square. The splendidly structured half-timbered gable dates back to around 1680. The entire house complex is considerably older. The oldest parts can be dated to the year 1386. Originally the EC was probably an open (purchase) hall. At times the house belonged to the imperial Premonstratenserstift Marchtal.
