Karl-Wolf-Steg over the Danube, Altheim
In 1992, the pedestrian walkway over the Danube, which had been blown up in 1945, was renewed and replaced with a spanned arch construction made of wood. The bridge between the municipality of Altheim and the Neufra district of the city of Riedlingen enables pedestrians and cyclists to make wonderful excursions and tours. In 2013, the footbridge was named after the long-standing mayor of Altheim, Karl Wolf. Thanks to the Karl-Wolf-Steg, Altheim is part of the Danube Cycle Path. An excellently developed field path network invites you to bike tours and inline skating.

One of many beautiful, interesting bridges. Here is a suspension bridge.

Great wooden suspension bridge. Even if it is not on the direct tour route, it is worth making a short detour and taking a short break at one of the benches.
