Descending from east to west, various vistas unfold. High on the Snauwenberg, among the fields, you can look westward to Maastricht. Then, various views of the Noordal and Voerdal valleys await. And it's not just the vistas that are beautiful. The semi-paved path is pleasant to walk. The varied landscape is even if you don't look into the distance.
